Project Reconnect aims to digitally empower 15 elderly individuals (65+ years) who are experiencing isolation and loneliness by equipping them with smartphone skills. This initiative will enable them to reconnect with family, friends, and community services online, reducing their social isolation.

•Elderly participants will learn to use digital tools to communicate via video calls and messaging.

•Participants will gain access to online services, including healthcare, exercise groups, and community events.

•The project will enhance confidence in using technology, empowering more seniors to embrace digital inclusion.

Community Engagement:

• Identified through COVID-19 outreach, where many elderly individuals reported long-term loneliness and mental health struggles.

•Volunteers will provide one-on-one digital support to ensure participants overcome their fear of technology.

•Aishah Help’s established community networks and referral system will help identify and support those most in need.

This project addresses the critical need for digital inclusion among the elderly, enabling them to rebuild social connections and access essential services.
