About the Programme
Worktop 2 Desktop is a powerful initiative by Aishah Help, designed to support women and girls from minority and vulnerable backgrounds in East London who are most affected by the cost-of-living crisis. This 12-month programme offers a package of support, including:
• Access to accredited online courses (worth up to £100)
• Vocational training and skills development
• Community engagement events
• Access to benefits support, and more
Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible if you:
• Are a woman or girl aged 18+ living in East London
•Belong to a BAME or minority community
•Are unemployed, on benefits, or struggling with household costs
•Have limited access to digital skills or career pathways
• Want to learn, grow, and connect with other women

Accredited Online Course Choose a training course up to the value of £100
Vocational Training Access employability training, CV support & digital inclusion
Resource Navigation Support to access local funds, housing, and benefits help
Community Events Monthly events for networking, mentoring & peer support
